"We weren't meant to hide, run, burn out without a single soul knowing of our existence," Aiden whispered to Imill, strengthened by the moment.
Her reply was calm, collected, and studied. "We'll die."
"We weren't truly alive to begin with."
Her hand was in his, and their toes wrapped around the edge of the precipice, their hair whipped into screaming tendrils.
She exhaled her answer. "We'll Burn."
As they fell forward, slipping from the safety of the cradling, cruel edge, they caught, exploding into patient, bright flames. People below looked upwards and were changed before the angels burned out, together, at the the concrete's kiss.

I agree with Shan. I read it twice, and each time I was like, ooh, this is cool. Oh, and do you think that you could say which song each was based off of? That would be fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI want your imagination, or you moments of brilliance when you come up with ideas. That hasn't happened to me in such a long time :(
