Life on the XXE-CXS-Providence was wretchedly mundane.
Diane floated, head facing the once-floor, and felt as though she might burst into tears; they would, of course, assume the form of mercurial bubbles in the air, but she didn't care.
"CARMINE," She hollered, "there's nothing to WRITE about!"
"Write a letter to those damn smokebeasts asking them to lay off our hull," the cyborg grumbled.
"You're so very dull, Carmine."
"You're the one who decided to chase the commonplace and sign on as a Starwarrior. You knew perfectly well the only entertainment out here is the straggling Angelic-Vampire-Fairy."
"But where's the excitement?!"
